Which are the best places to see in Africa?

It depends on your area of interest. If you are into history, culture and slavery with a litle bit about wildlife and fauna, GHANA would be your best option.

If you are into History and civilization, look towards Egypt, Ethiopia.

If you are looking for wildlife and some plants, look towards the East [Kenya and surrounding countries].

For 2 sharp distinct differences, look towards South Africa. Hope you have heard of the Sun city. There are area for the poor as well. On the whole it is a great place to visit. Great culture, History etc.

This is not to say the other countries are not good. They are but I might not know all, and most of them have just a little of everything.

Do some research yourself.

I loved Egypt, Morocco's good too. Tunisia's not bad either. South Africa's lovely!

Egypt-visit the pyramids, the temples, the mystery behind the king's mummy, the exquisite hotels, the people, the culture...great!

Morocco-Casablanca's great! worth visiting! So much to see in Morocco, the countryside, the cities

Don't know much about Tuinisia, but I know, it's got a lot of culture and fun, lots of festivities to keep you busy, that is if you're looking for fun!

Or South Africa's not a bad option.

Definitely Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (thanks for that edit). Not only is it the tallest point in Africa, it's the only place in Africa that contains all the various eco-zones (tropical, arctic, desert etc) in one spot.



...of course, the Pyramids and Sphinx are likely high on the list, but be prepared to witness the commercial aspect of these areas, which have become quite popular due to tourism.

Mt. Kilimanjaro is actually in Tanzania, but I also believe that going on a safari in Kenya would be a lot of fun. Also, if you are into history, Egypt and Ethiopia would make great choices.
